According to SAMHSA, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, this is the 27th year that September has been known as National Recovery Month. National Recovery Month is held to educate Americans on how substance use treatment and mental health services can enable individuals to live a healthy and rewarding life despite the hardships they face. Since 1989, the month of observance has grown from educating the country about the benefits of services to celebrating the accomplishments of individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
As CapGrow Partners works within the Behavioral Health space, we feel it is important to share this information. It is our goal to expand home and community based services to all who need it in the behavioral health community so that providers can help enhance the lives of individuals in recovery. It is our firm belief that by increasing access to housing, we do our part to provide homes to the community.
