We’ve partnered with national groups to offer exclusive discounts and services to become your FIRST EVER one-stop-shop in community based housing. Our Preferred Vendor Program is the only program in the HCBS service space designed to remove stress from providers and increase the ease of setting up new or existing community-based housing. We don’t just partner with anyone, we thoroughly vet and make sure they believe in the mission and communities they serve. Keep an eye on our blog for a brief look at who our preferred vendors are and what makes them a great option for any provider organization:
Since the beginning of humankind, people have been incorporating objects into their daily lives. The desk and chair I sit at as I type these words are only the modern equivalent of our ancestors’ large stone and tree stump, objects to further our work. While the furniture we use everyday may not be the first thought in our minds when accomplishing tasks, consider what our society would be like without it.
With that in mind, it is no surprise that in the 1970’s there was a national focus on “crate-style” furniture, durable pieces that could withstand the usual wear and tear that would break most other furniture. From student housing to human services, companies across the country were using this style of furniture because it would last. One furniture company realized the demand for durable furniture was high in the human service market and dedicated a division to specialize in this area. This division would later grow and become Butler Human Services.
Butler Human Services works with human service organizations to provide the individuals they serve with well crafted furniture that is built to last. While based in Richmond, Virginia, Butler works to provide durable furniture to providers across the country, saving them money by eliminating the need to regularly replace furniture. With over 20 years of experience serving both educational institutions and human service providers, they offer products to fit providers’ needs such as furniture that includes upholstered seating and bed bug resistant mattresses. Their use of crate-style furniture truly offers products to the human services community that helps focus their dollars and time on the individuals they serve.

I have had the pleasure of working for over 20 years with individuals and organizations that dedicate their lives to serving those in need in the Human Services arena. It was clear from the start that these people want to provide the best care and the best environment for their clients, and I have been able to share my expertise with them so they don't have to worry about furniture. They can focus their energy on their demanding job, knowing that the furniture solution we pick is not only a strong value, but will meet their clients’ needs while providing a warm and comfortable home. One of our tag lines sums it up well, "we don't just build a better frame, we build a better frame of mind.
